Man About Town (1939) – Broadway producer Bob Temple (Benny), who’s brought a show to London, loves his glamorous star Diana (Dorothy Lamour), but she won’t take him seriously. To show her, he picks up stranger Lady Arlington (Binnie Barnes), whose financier husband (Edward Arnold) neglects her. On a weekend at the Arlington country house, Bob finds himself a pawn for Lady A. and her friend to make their husbands jealous.
