Nothing Sacred: A hilarious comedy of errors taking aim at everything, from the public's morbid interest in disaster, to the newspaper business. Lombard is Hazel Flagg, who through a blundered diagnosis by a small town doctor, is given two weeks to live. Her 'plight' is discovered by a NY newspaper whose city editor decides that Hazel will make a great human interest story. She is given an all-expense paid 'last fling' in the big town, with cynical news hawk Frederick March showing her the bright lights and the fun really begins.
