A revenge tale of "B" proportions, THE BRUTE MAN is the story of Hal Moffat, a college student who is horribly disfigured in a laboratory accident. Years later, he returns to punish those responsible for his hideous fate.

Rondo Hatton, the featured brute of more than a dozen Hollywood films, plays Moffat after his accident. Jane Adams portrays Helen, a blind piano teacher who falls for the man inside the brute, while nighily the crazed Moffat seeks out his victims to make them pay for the past and steals cash and jewels to pay for an operation that will restore Helen's sight.

Helmed by veteran "B" movie director Jean Yarbrough (She-Wolf of London), THE BRUTE MAN was sadly Hation's last role as he passed away several months before the film's release. Also starring are Tom Neal and Jan Wiley as Moffat's potential victims and Peter Whitney as the dauntless police detective determined to end the carnage.
