Robert Redford, Bo Svenson, Susan Sarandon. A fighter pilot who exaggerated his accomplishments in WWI returns home in search of glory. First doing barnstorming to show off his aerobatic talents, he ultimately becomes a movie stunt pilot. But when he crosses paths on set with a German pilot he claims he fought and beat during the war, a high-flying showdown ensues.
