Mexican war drama, El guerrillero del norte aka Guerilla from the North, was directed by Francisco Guerrero and was released and entered in the 13th Moscow International Film Festival in 1983. The story depicts the ill-fated life of Guerilla Fighter, Melicio, who fights to maintain a relationship with his lover and against tyranny in the state of Sonora's Mexican revolution.
