Season's Greetings from Cherry Lane

Over the course of more than 70 years, a lot of families have lived in the house at 7 Cherry Lane and each of them has had a Christmas to remember. In 1951, a doctor wants to make the holiday special for his worried wife before he is shipped out to serve in Korea, but when she suffers a minor fracture to her arm his carefully planned out Christmas Eve plans are upended. In 2003, a newly married couple who are always in agreement about everything hosts two sets of in-laws for Christmas Eve the first time and find that they may not have had as much in common as they thought they did. And in 2024, a couple tries to arrange special Christmas surprises for each other but keeping them a secret may be harder than they thought.

Three very different families celebrate Christmas Eve in the same house on Cherry Lane over the course of many years. In 1960, a writer and his patient, hairdresser wife help their son create a Christmas-themed time capsule, but the writer's irascible father makes it difficult to get the job done. In 1998, a widow spends finds herself caught up in an unexpected Christmas romance when a contractor gets stuck in her house due to a blizzard. And in 2015, a woman has to help her sister put on a Christmas Eve wedding that is being officiate by the woman's high school sweetheart who broke her heart.

Christmas Eve in a house at 7 Cherry Lane is always special, but for three families who lived there at different times, these holidays will be ones that they will never forget. In 1966, a woman convinces a computer programmer to pose as her husband while they host a Christmas Eve TV broadcast in his living room. In 1981, a man tries to keep things merry and bright while he struggles to find a way to tell his wife and daughter about a job opportunity that will take them away from the house and neighborhood they love. and in 2000, a couple of best friends, who have known each other since they were infants, find unexpected feelings developing as they try to find out who is behind a series of Christmas themed random acts of kindness.
