Medicine Man (1992) is a rainforest adventure-eco-thriller-meets-romantic-comedy, starring Sean Connery as a researcher doggedly pursuing a cure for cancer in the Amazonian rainforest, with Lorraine Bracco as the biochemist sent to check on his progress. Their friction grows into a romance as they interact with a native tribe and face off against destructive loggers. This Deluxe Edition adds 13 minutes of unreleased cues to Jerry Goldsmith's score, plus an alternate mix of the opening track.
