Oscar winner Nicolas Cage is David Spritz, a Chicago weatherman living the life most of us dream of—a celebrity with a six-figure salary and a daily, two-hour work schedule. But his professional successes are overshadowed by his personal failures. Divorced from his wife, his kids are slipping away and Pulitzer Prize-winning father (Oscar winner Michael Caine) won't take him seriously. Director Gore Verbinski (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN) and screenwriter Steven Conrad (THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS) bring together a quirky tale filled with equal parts heart and comedy.
