When Camille meets Petra (Rachel Crawford), a wry and flamboyant performer in a modern Felliniesque circus troupe, she is inexplicably drawn. Camille pursues this sensual, dream-like woman, throwing her whole conservative life, not to mention her engagement, into disarray.
